After you have a business idea, it’s time to figure out who your ideal audience is. But what does that even mean? Another phrase often used to describe this is the target audience. This is the audience you want your business to be reaching. With the help of your services or product, you can make this person’s life better.

So who is your ideal audience?

Think about what your business has to offer. What person would this benefit the most? Does your offer help fix a problem your ideal client is struggling with? How so? Envision what this person looks like. Do you know their age, what they value, or what they enjoy? What’s their personality like? These different traits are what help make up your target audience.

Why do you need to know who this person is?

The best way to serve your ideal audience is to know who they are and what they need. By knowing who this person is, you can begin diving into their struggles and interests. Gaining information about this person will help you by knowing exactly what type of content you need to create for your business and how to speak to their pain points. Because you know this person in and out, you’ll be able to provide this person with things that make their life better. Whether it’s entertainment or education, you’ll be able to speak to their needs and help them feel seen.

Are you struggling to figure out who this person is?

Think about what inspired you to create this business. Was it created to help a previous version of you? Someone you know? Think about that person in depth.
